Just as all women-folk are "mommies" and all male figures are "daddies," to The Short One, all religious figures are "God." Even Mary. Funny, she's not a "mommy." She's "a God."
On Easter, The Short One's godparents gifted him w/ a basket full of sweet things and "God things." One "God thing" was a puzzle of The Last Supper. Commercialism ... I know ... kinda like Charles and Di on salt and pepper shakers ... OR Thomas Kinkaid "art" on anything.
The Short One was thrilled. Threw aside the Hershey Kisses and Nerd's to exclaim, "Loooook, a GOD PUZZLE! A GOD PUZZLE!!"
On Easter Sunday, during mass, The Short One crossed his legs to examine the bottoms of his shiny shoes.
"MUD!! Well, CRAP!" he said.
I'm sure "The God-folk" heard ...
