GRAS 13.

1.  I'm surprised at how beautiful the weather was today.
2.  I'm surprised at how much dust accumulates in my house between dustings.
3.  I'm surprised at how much I love HEB's tempura crab rolls.
4.  I'm surprised at the professionalism of skilled craftsmen.
5.  And remain shocked at what they charge!
6.  I'm surprised that The Short One happily went to practice this evening.  We may be over the hump of newness and anxiety.
7.  I'm surprised I heard Anita Perry talk on the national news tonight.
8.  In all her years as first lady, I'm not sure I've ever heard her speak.
9.  I'm surprised that I heard of this artist only this side of two weeks ago.  And love him!!
10. I'm surprised at all there is to do in a day.
11. And how some days I do it all.
12.  And other days NOT at all.
13.  Nothing profound for number #13 on the 13th day except to say I find myself feeling a little sorry for Conrad Murray.  Yes, at one time the man took an oath to serve and protect.  No he didn't.  He took an oath to preserve life and limb.  Yes, that's right.  The Hippocratic One.  But, along the way, he stopped being a doctor to many (tho' I think he maintained his practice) and became servant to one and provided the VERY THING that his employer requested.  Render him unconscious for much of his tortured existence.  And sadly, I think the King o' Pop would say if asked ... job well done.
