Tho' my tastes are running more toward Zen these days, (they recognize me there now), I'll always be grateful for My Original. Where, during my childhood, there was only the Original Chicken Sandwich, assembled w/ white bread buns and two pickles. No waffle fries. No milkshakes. No "healthy options." Only to be found in shopping mall food courts. Next to Orange Julius. During back to school shopping in West Texas, Chick Fil A was my one and only. It's older than me since it opened in 1967. But, Woodstock is my age. So is Man on the Moon (NOT the Andy Kaufman bio, either.) Which always make me cry to hear it replayed now. "Houston ... " Well, you know the rest. Mama was a little bit pregnant w/ me when that happened. And she tells me they interrupted "As the World Turns" for its coverage. (Isn't that right, Mama?)
So, I post this in honor of The Chick who's older than me ...
(The Tall One and I say we could make a mint if we opened "The Sunday Chick Fil A.")

My kids would be your best customers, especially if you opened one in Burleson (or elsewhere along the I35-Ft. Worth corridor) since we are so often forced to find alternate establishments upon our returns from OKC...and nowhere else quite measures up.
